Your Trimly mower uses GPS/RTK satellite positioning to navigate your lawn with centimeter-level precision. It follows a mapped route, returns to its charging station when the battery is low, and resumes where it left off. No boundary wires, no remote control — fully autonomous.
Yes. The mower has built-in collision sensors, a lift-detection kill switch (blades stop in <1 second if lifted), and a 3-inch safety barrier preventing fingers or paws from reaching the blades. If you have a fenced yard, the MowGate includes a 360° pet scan before opening. You can also schedule mowing for overnight hours when kids and pets are inside.
Our 2026 mowers cut to within 1–2 inches of borders. Daily mowing means the grass never grows tall enough for the fringe to be noticeable. If you want crisp concrete-line edges, add Precision Edge ($49/mo) for biweekly trimming, edging, and blowing.
Yes. Our Lawn Health Plan add-on includes 7 professional weed control and fertilization treatments per year, starting at $49/month. Treatments are tuned to your grass type (Bermuda, Zoysia, or Fescue) and applied on a seasonal schedule. Add it to your mowing subscription on the pricing page.
We offer two aeration services: warm-season aeration (April–June, from $99) for Bermuda and Zoysia lawns, and aeration + overseeding (September–October, from $249) for fescue lawns. These are one-time annual services billed when the treatment is performed.
All services are performed by Trimly's professional lawn care team. Everything is managed, scheduled, and billed through Trimly — one company, one bill, one point of contact.
Every mower has 4G connectivity. If it gets stuck, we're notified instantly via our monitoring dashboard. Most stuck events are resolved remotely by adjusting the mowing zone. If a physical intervention is needed, our Fleet Manager responds within 24–48 hours.
It mows. Robotic mowers are IPX5/IPX6 rated and operate in rain without issue. This is actually a major advantage over traditional crews, who skip rainy days.
GPS tracking, geofence alerts, anti-theft PIN code, and theft insurance included in every subscription. If it's stolen, we replace it at no cost.
Our standard AWD mowers handle slopes up to 24° (45% grade). For steeper terrain, we can upgrade to a more powerful mower that handles almost any slope. During the pre-install site survey, we assess your yard's terrain and recommend the right equipment for your property.
Your mower enters hibernation mode. During December–February, our Fleet Manager performs a Deep Service: battery conditioning, motor inspection, blade deck overhaul, and firmware updates. This is why you pay year-round — your equipment is being maintained and your spot is held.
You can transfer your Trimly subscription to the new homeowner (great selling point!) or cancel with 30 days notice. We'll remove the equipment at no charge.
We currently serve the Greenville metro area including Simpsonville, Mauldin, Five Forks, Greer, and Taylors. Columbia and Charleston are coming in 2027. Enter your address on our Get Started page to confirm coverage.
Trimly handles mowing, edging (with Precision Edge), weed control, fertilization, and aeration (with Lawn Health Plan and seasonal services). We do not provide shrub trimming, tree care, landscape design, irrigation installation, mulching, or leaf removal. For these services, we recommend pairing Trimly with a local landscaping company.
Under 60 decibels — quieter than a normal conversation. You can run it at 2am and your neighbors will never know. Compare that to a gas mower at 95+ dB.
No — we own it, maintain it, and replace it if anything goes wrong. You just enjoy the lawn.

We come out once to install the boundary system and set up the mower. After that, it runs itself. Most installs take 2–3 hours.
